Carol on the rock

Carols on the rock program marches on. On December 12, 2010 we had the 34th edition. Thousands of participants thronged the premises of the hospital for the event. At the end of the event, many testified to a new level of blessedness that accompanied the yearly program. (View pictures) Ola Olu Hospital provides a holistic and comprehensive primary health care service. Its impact has been so far-reaching that it has variously been described as the “neighborhood hospital” and “the annual harbinger of the Christmas season.” In its services the hospital seeks to care for the total man. It cares not only for the bodily needs of its patients, it offers counseling as may be required and is also concerned with the spiritual needs of its patients. Ola Olu hospital has a virile choir and has organized a yearly outreach programme tagged “Carols on the Rock” since 1977. At this event, an estimated twenty thousand people gather in an edifying outdoor. Carol-singing for its patients and other interested participants from nearby communities.. The Hospital thus caters for the needs of the body, the mind and the spirit.
